4. Payment Processing (Mac App Store)

Our app is distributed exclusively via the Apple Mac App Store. If you decide to purchase, the entire payment process is handled completely by Apple (Apple Distribution International Ltd.). As developers, we never gain access to your payment data, such as credit card information or bank details. Apple's privacy policy applies.

5. Analytics Tools (Google Analytics)

This website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". 7. Special Features of the SpamSense Mac App (Privacy by Design)

Unlike the use of the website, the SpamSense Mac App pursues a strict offline-first approach to protect your sensitive communication:

  • Local Processing: All analysis of emails (sender, subject, content) takes place exclusively locally on your Mac. At no time are email contents transmitted to our servers or to third parties.
  • No Cloud Connection for Analysis: Classification by Artificial Intelligence (Bayes filter) is performed entirely offline using local algorithms and your own AI memory.
  • Security of Access Data: Your email access data and app passwords are stored highly encrypted directly in the system keychain of your Mac. We have no access to this data.
  • Direct Communication: The app establishes a direct, encrypted connection (IMAP) between your Mac and your email provider. There is no detour via external proxy servers.

8. Your Rights

You have the right at any time to receive information about the origin, recipient, and purpose of your stored personal data free of charge. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given your consent to data processing, you can revoke this consent at any time for the future.
